- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash ripe bananas in a large bowl.
- Mix the flour, espresso powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mashed bananas.
- Add the eggs, melted butter, and sugar to the banana mixture and stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth out the top.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free flour blend.
You can substitute the chocolate chips with nuts or dried fruits of your choice.
For an extra coffee boost, increase the amount of espresso powder.
