  • 3 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • ¼ tsp cream of tartar or ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional ½ tsp garlic powder or dried herbs for flavor

  • Turkey ham, or grilled chicken
  • Cheese slices
  • Lettuce tomato (moderation), and avocado
  • Mayo or mustard

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the egg whites and yolks into two clean bowls.
  3. In the yolk bowl, mix in softened cream cheese, salt, and optional seasonings until smooth.
  4. In the second bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped whites without overmixing.
  6. Spoon the batter into 6 equal mounds on the lined tray (about burger bun size).
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and set.
  8. Cool fully before assembling as sandwich bread.

Store cooled cloud bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
